HYB Electric Hydraulic Hybrid Press Brake

The HYB Series press brakes from Toyokoki provide the highest degree of accuracy and repeatability available from any hydraulic press brake. They are the only machines on the market that monitor and maintain ram velocity in real time. One thousand times per second, the control reads ram position and instructs ram motors to increase or decrease rpm accordingly. When oil warms, other machines' rams can over-travel by up to .006". with the HYB Series, ram repeatability is kept within 0.0002" (5 microns)!

Automatic thickness sensing measures sheet thickness at each pinch point during the actual bending cycle. Every punch and die works because the machine acts as a large micrometer. When either piston registers 0.5 tons of back-pressure, the ram stops for 0.1 second and the linear scales read thestroke to within 0,00004". New dead bottom center in computed instantly.
